How to Do Naukasana

  1. Lie flat on your back with your legs together and arms by your sides.
  2. Take a deep breath in.
  3. As you exhale, lift your head, shoulders, arms, and legs off the floor at the same time.
  4. Keep your arms straight and parallel to the ground, reaching toward your feet.
  5. Balance on your hips, keeping your spine long.
  6. Tighten your abdominal muscles and breathe normally.
  7. Hold the pose for 10–30 seconds (beginners) or 30–60 seconds (advanced).
  8. Exhale and slowly lower your body back to the floor.
  9. Repeat 3–5 times.
